Avideh Ghaffari

As President of Avida International Ltd., a New York Construction Contracting and Design company for over three decades, Avideh Ghaffari serves as advisor, consultant and spearhead on numerous savvy and attractive property refurbishments and upgrades. Educated in Architecture and Interior Design in her native Iran as well as in the U.K., she has utilized her cultivated eye and concrete knowledge of living space, structure and aesthetics to repackage, repurpose and market high end condominiums, cooperatives and townhouses.

The complexities of conceptualizing and shepherding two highly successful Park Avenue brownstone reconstruction projects from inception to completion for top Hong Kong real estate investment firms, are well documented in full feature articles in Grains New York as well as the New York Times praising Ms. Ghaffari's foresight, business smarts and people skills. Other articles about her work have appeared in the Wall Street Journal and The New York Observer. Additionally, she was invited as Guest of the Week on CNBC Morning Business Report and has been listed in Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of Women of the World. Ms. Ghaffari's career as a Licensed Real Estate Sales Broker has been equally impressive with her knowledge of construction design shaping and informing her world- class sales performance over a 28-year period.

After being a top producer with William B. May for sixteen years, she joined the premier Brown Harris Stevens firm in 2004 as Senior Vice President.

Avideh has lived in her New York City co-op apartment for over four decades with her husband, Abbas Ghaffari, former Head of the US and Mexican operations for NIOC

(National Iranian Oil Company), then headquartered in New York. The story of her immigration to the City from Teheran to join her fiance--- is the stuff that reinforces the Big Apple as the magic and magnetic destination that it is.

Ms. Ghaffari is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the American Society of Interior Design and NAFE (National Association of Female Executives).
