Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, President & CEO of SWW Creative, is widely recognized for her contributions to the American fashion and entertainment industry. Wolkoff forges personal and professional relationships across global power industries by advising brands, companies and individuals as they seek to build advantageous ventures and superlative initiatives.
SWW Creative provides innovative collaborations within the spheres of fashion, entertainment, hospitality, sports, technology and global health. Wolkoff is a Strategic Partner with Penske Media Corporation, which is one of the Top 100 Private Companies in the United States and North America, of global media brands fueled by remarkable content across digital, video, print and event properties. Wolkoff is Co-Creator, President and Executive Producer of the Style Awards which launched Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and aired on Style Network and CNN. Wolkoff is a cofounder, Board Member and Chief Strategy and Creative Officer of ALCHEMY – a revolutionary private club with strategic partnerships, sustainable programming, unprecedented experiences, and brand integration. Wolkoff is Chairman of the Board of the RunThrough and Special Adviser to Resonance, both in partnership with Lawrence Lenihan, co-founder of FirstMark Capital, and angel investor and fashion industry entrepreneur Joseph Ferrara. SWW Creative has worked with clients such as IMG Fashion Worldwide, Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Hermès of Paris, NASCAR, Mattel, American Express, New York Knicks, the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy Research at Stanford University, and eBay.
Prior to SWW Creative, in November 2009, Wolkoff became the founding Fashion Director of Lincoln Center and oversaw the relocation of New York City’s biannual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park. She supervised every aspect of Lincoln Center-based Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events and created an ambitious year-round initiative of fashion-related programming at Lincoln Center including, the CFDA Awards, international conferences, designer lecture series, fashion technology symposiums and Lincoln Center Presents: An Evening with Ralph Lauren in conversation with Oprah Winfrey. Wolkoff was fashion director to IMG Fashion, having connected with a common voice the various constituencies that come together to organize Fashion Week, as well as, having consulted on and creating solutions supporting IMG Fashions overarching mission to facilitate a gateway to the fashion world - from creation to consumer. Wolkoff acted as an official spokesperson regarding all fashion related activity at Lincoln Center.
For over a decade, Wolkoff served as Director of Special Events at Vogue Magazine, working with Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, in overseeing and producing major events and special projects for Vogue, Men’s Vogue and Vogue Living; the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit, The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, 7th On Sale, and Fashion’s Night Out, to name a few. Prior to her position at Vogue, Wolkoff was Manager of Client Services at Sotheby’s, overseeing the historic Duke and Duchess of Windsor and The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis auctions.
Wolkoff finds time for active involvement in several charitable and community causes, including the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy Research at Stanford University, New Yorkers for Children and The Child Mind Institute. Wolkoff is Secretary of the Board of Hopeland, together with Founder Debora-Lee Furness, Nick Evans, Kathleen Strottman, Tom Farley, Joe Ritchie, Hugh Evans and Tom DiFilipo. Hopeland is an international, education, and advocacy campaign that drives millions of actions aimed at reducing the number of children without a safe, nurturing, permanent family. Wolkoff is a Board Member of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, who honor and support outstanding achievements in the many branches of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice: ATF, CBP, DEA, FAMS, FBI, ICEE USSS and USMS.
Wolkoff was honored by her high school, Suffield Academy, with their Alumni Leadership Award; by the Albert Einstein School of Medicine’s Spirit of Achievement Award; by the UJA at their Women of Influence event, as well as, by The Gordon Parks Foundation at their Annual Awards Dinner celebrating creativity, along with Karl Lagerfeld, Spike Lee, Arianna Huffington and Sir Ken Robinson.
She lives with her husband and three children in New York City.
